AsthmaFitPro aims to improve the lives of asthmatic patients by developing a specialized app and e-platform that promote safe and specialized physical activity exercises to be conducted before and after engaging in sports, recommend low risk sports and emphasize on all precautions needed to be taken before, during and after physical exercise. By providing tailored exercise plans, real-time air pollution monitoring, and educational resources, our initiative aims to encourage asthmatic patients to physical activity and empower asthmatic athletes to manage their condition more effectively and lead healthier lives.

Additionally, the project promotes the development of a supportive community where patients can share experiences and stay motivated in sports.
AsthmaFitPro will also launch a week-long Social Media Campaign «Fit to Breathe, Strong to Achieve!» to inspire asthmatic patients to participate in sports. As part of the campaign, we will develop promotional videos, with one video being released each day.
The project also supports the priority of improving the qualifications and competences of individuals involved in sport (PE teachers and coaches), thereby contributing to the development of innovative practices in sport education.
Through its comprehensive approach, AsthmaFitPro addresses the priorities of the ERASMUS+ Sport Cooperation Partnerships call and promotes a healthier, more active lifestyle for asthmatic patients.

AsthmaFitPro outcomes seek to achieve the following objectives:

 -  to increase the number of asthmatic patients engaging in regular physical activity by 30% within two years. Indicators for measuring this include a baseline value of 20% (current engagement rate) and a target value of 50% (post-intervention engagement rate), measured through user surveys, step counters and app usage data during our project’s pilot application phase.
- to improve asthma control and quality of life for participants, with a baseline value of 50 (average Asthma Control Test score) and a target value of 70, measured through pre- and post-intervention assessments.
- The project also aims to train sports staff and parents, with a baseline value of 0 and a target value of 100, tracked through training completion records that will take place after the pilot application phase in Asthma associations, sport organizations, universities and high school that are members of our partnership.
